Which one is better and why?

I used the Can Am and was impressed. How does new Ranger compare?

Both have their pluses. Durability not being one of them. Get a Yamaha or Kawasaki.

Why do you say that?

Not sure about the can am but the new ranger 1000’s have beefed up bushings, shafts, and belt compared to previous models. These improvements were made so that they could offer a 1 year factory warranty rather than a 6 month factory warranty

As some who currently has Hondas and Polaris, the mule fxr is my next purchase.

The Yamaha release in September may sway me. As I love their products.

Too heavy for me.

I like my mahindra tractor though.

I wish for a larger engine in the Viking. The Polaris ranger with the backcountry package looks awesome. I really don’t have experience with Polaris though.

The Kubota RTV is the superior product for farm or construction use but is too heavy and slow for most preferences in the hunting environment. Kubota did come out with the side kick to try and bridge that gap and it is a bad arse machine but hasn’t caught much traction

So what is the best side by side for hunting. We have a stretch of road about 200 yards long that usually has anywhere from 3 inches to 15 inches of water on it. It gets torn up pretty bad and during winter the ruts are deep. We usually hunt 4-6 people. Right now we use 3 or 4 4-wheelers to get to the pond. I am considering getting a side by side but have no clue what would is the best.

The new Polaris Ranger 1000 would be what I would buy. But I have no experience with the Yamaha

The Viking is the most durable 700 class side by side and most reliable crew side by side. The problem is it only has 49 hp.

The polaris has a much better ride and power. But bearings and seals are shitty.

I’m a Yamaha guy at heart but they need more power in the Viking.

I’ve been eying up the Ranger 1000 backcountry edition lately.

One of the members at our camp bought a Yamaha Wolverine a couple years ago. It has had a lot of problems, durability being the most important. Hell I've got an old 2013 Rhino that I beat the crap out of and just keeps on tickin.

They're famous for breaking down. My cousin worked at the can am dealership and said he would never own one due to their quality
