Got a pistol I’m looking to sell. Besides Louisiana sportsman (ad already posted), where are some good places to sell?

Right here. Admins encourage “Classifieds” action on TD.

The OB is the last place on TD that has an active admin presence.

bayou shooters has a section. I may have done them.

I've bought from gunbroker a few times, I'd be curious how hard it is to sell on it. I would think they walk you through the process; and you get a national market. You WOULD need to know the various "can't sell to Cali/New York" etc, depending on what it is.
I would expect that you'd get the best return from them, though.

This may be true for firearms with a limited market (rare, collectible, higher end or etc.) where you need the exposure to find that special buyer, but for a run of the mill widely available firearm Gunbroker may not be the best option. The large platform works with you and against you in that your exposure is increased, but so is your competition. It's kind of a pain for an individual to ship a gun, especially a handgun. The shipping fee is going to be a loss to some degree for the seller even if it is passed onto the buyer since most will likely reflect that cost in their final bid. You also end up paying a fee to Gunbroker based on the sale price which will further reduce your take. As far as "can't sell places" since the firearm has to go through an FFL this pretty much takes care of itself in that people won't bid if they know their dealer won't transfer it to them. If they aren't aware of the restrictions and bid anyway, dealers in those areas are more keen to want to know what a person is trying to get transferred in before it's shipped and will let you know if that item is not legal there.

The type of gun you are selling really will influence the venue for you to use.

Wait...

Aren’t you the dude who started the 9 vs. 40 shite show on here last year, ignored everyone’s recommendations, and then bought the 40 because “it felt better” in your hand?
