Ok I given up on Spypoint. Last year I bought the one with the solar panel on top. Pics started getting hazy and eventually no pics were being taken. Noticed moisture was getting inside the door. Took it back to where I bought it and swapped it out and was also told it’s an ongoing issue and to run a bead on silicon around the edge of the new ones solar panel, which I did. Worked great to finish up last year. I just put it back in the woods 2 weeks ago and the same issue is occurring already. Hazy pics and now it’s not taking any. Any recommendations for a new cam. I liked the idea of the solar panel and never having to worry about batteries.

I have 2 Moultrie XA-7000i and receive 3-4 pictures daily. Have not burnt through the batteries on either camera.
The pictures are clear and app is easy to use. Cameras are easy to set up with mobile plan.
The app is going through some updates the last 2 days so it's spotty, but all in all, I enjoy having these.

I really like my Tactacam Reveal X. This is my first ever cell can so I do not have any experiences or comparisons with other brands. I bought a few back in July and have been really impressed. The range on the camera is unreal. I have one set up on a field edge and I have a pic of a combine picking corn in the middle of a 150 acre field, at least 100 yards away.

For the price point, hard to beat the Tactacam Reveal.

There are several of these same questions asked the last few weeks you may gain even more info with a search.
I totally agree with you Spypoint makes total crap. I switched to Spartan after giving Spypoint several chances to get a working product. I haven't looked back. While not the cheapest I haven't found anything better and their customer service at Spartan is excellent.

I just got two spypoints for 150 total on some deal academy had. I've also got some cuddeback's running (2 nodes plus the cell cam). It's too early to tell, but I do like cuddeback's daisy chaining and single subscription over two independent cameras with spypoint. However, the daisy chaining feature requires a proximity between cameras or some kind of repeating device inbetween. they both have drawbacks.
Cuddeback loses to spypoint on not having an app and also that they just recently began allowing you to view pictures online. Previously they all just got emailed to you and that was it. Spypoint's app blows cuddeback's delivery system out the water IMO.
My buddies run moultries and seem to like them. I can't speak on others as I haven't personally messed with them.

I recently bought several of the Stealthcam cameras at Sam's Club. They were really easy to set up and get running (they use either ATT or Verizon) and I am an idiot when it comes to getting things like this to work properly.
The Command Pro app is really easy to use and capable. Good pictures. You get the camera, 16 gig card, batteries, all for a c-note.
After a couple of weeks they are working great except for the fact that they have shown I have way too many huge pigs eating my expensive corn.

I have 2 of these and 2 tactacam reveals. They've performed relatively similarly. I have no complaints with either.

I've liked my Covert. Their customer service is great, also

When’s the last time you had to use their customer service? They were recently bought by ferdayne and i have heard horror stories about their customer service. I know the original covert people were top notch.

Not to highjack but what do the service plans cost on these?
I might want to look in on it for Christmas for my Dad.

Several months ago. Had to send the camera back and I had a new one free of charge 3 days later.

Have had great success with my Browning StrikeForce wireless on AT&T. Takes and sends good pictures reliably. Love sitting in my living room 4 hours away and watching the deer and Turkey. Will add another one next year when I haven’t spent too much money on upgrading other things.

I have 4 Covert wireless code blacks and they are solid. I have had the LTE models for 3 years with no issues. DO NOT buy the cheaper Covert models they are junk. Get the code black.

I have 2 new Tactacam Reveal X and can't get a signal. I even put it on same tree as one of my spypoint that has 90% signal and it can't find signal. I've been trying for a week to contact customer service. They sent me an email to move the camera to a different location. Frustrating!

They're all pretty similar. $12-15 per month for unlimited pics. Couple bucks less per month if you only want 500, 1,000, 2,000, etc pics. I just give my old man one to put out and send him pics every day around noon and again after dark if there were notable deer in them. He's not interested in going through 200 pics per day. He just wants the highlights.

I bought the $59 spypoint cell link from academy (it hooks to your game cam and sends you pics). So far it works well.
