Trying to decide between the Vortex Diamondback and the Leupold BX-2 Acadia. Anyone have experience with either of these? Or any better ones in the same price range?

I've looked though a pile of binos and after hearing this one is the best I finally bought the best!

Swaro 10x42

Interstate Guns has treated me right and it's a shame Chris got banned from here. I spent $8000 dollars in the last 45 to 60 days because of him.

I don't have the Leupold, but I do have the Vortex Diamondback. I bought my Vortex in 12X50 to use on prairie dog hunts, but I also use it on deer stands that have potential shots >150 yards. I caught mine on sale at Cabela's online for $130. I've been very pleased w/ mine and would buy another pair if needed.

No doubt the swarovski is the best. I used my buddies 8x42’s a couple weekends ago and loved them. Unfortunately they’re no where near what I can afford.

Damn.....what'd he get banned for? Selling something? That sucks. He brought a lot of info in here.

Before you announce your budget, be ready to spend all of it. Everything suggested will be at or above what you’re “willing to spend”

Spend the money, get swarvs. Bought mine twenty years ago for my wife. She worked in the field. Still going strong. Five years ago I sent them back to get refurbished. Put new lens cover and eye protectors. Cleaned inside and out, no charge.

My son has these. And I’m getting a pair for Christmas. I’m not going to say they compare to $3000 binocs. But for the price, they are VERY crisp and clear.

Recently got the Nikon Monarch 5s. About 330. Major upgrade from my Bushnell trophy series.

Very happy with them

These Monarchs are $50 off on Cabelas. Just ordered a pair for my son.
