Got stung by a honey bee yesterday and my hand is swollen up pretty bad.

Knew I was allergic to red wasp, but apparently honey bees too.

Anyone got a remedy to get the swelling down? Already taken some Benadryl to no avail

I've convinced the wife of a thing or 2 to get the swelling down but you're on your own baw.

EPI pen, or just wait till tomorrow and it will be fine unless your throat starts to swell.

Probably too late now, but in the future, learn how to make a plantain poultice, LINK If you don't have any plantain available, at least keep some drawing salve or ointment, like Prid, handy. Put that drawing salve or Prid on the sting location asap. It helps to draw out the venom. Edited to add that honeybee stings are the worst for me, too. Highly allergic to them. Wasp and hornet stings are child's play compared to a honeybee sting...on me.

That condition must be going around. I've had the same reaction for the last couple years.

You can go to an Urgent care and get a shot of steroid, along with a steroid pack. That will help. Continue to take Benadryl along with Zantac or Pepcid.
