I was given a BAR .270 in immaculate condition. The gun was made in 1988 and has only had one box of shells ran through it. What price would it bring if I were to go out and buy this gun?

I got the exact gun. I paid 575 before taxes. Wanted a good gun instead of a class ring.

Browning produced several models: stalker, carbine, LW, Safari, Grade III, Mk II, etc... Go to Gunbroker, GunsAmerica, or other internet gun selling sites and see what the current prices are. Here's an example
