Bank and Kayak Fishing Around Lake Charles

Working from out of town. I fished off the bank in Hackberry and Sabine Lake haven't had much luck. Any other places to go or what time of year is the best?
Also I have a kayak and a boat but really don't want to bring my boat out here I heard the kayak fishing in big lake is pretty good in the fall.
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

You pissed off the bank?
Sounds like a money board problem

You can take your kayak and go beat the bank in Joe's Cove just south of Hackberry, or go to the east side and fish the marsh area around Fred's Lounge off Hwy 384. I have had success at both of these places

Fred's lounge, choupique bayou, & west cove are all accessible by kayak.

Launch at Ellender's Bridge and head west in ICC hang a left on first big canal that is the salt ditch. (about 300 to 500 yds of paddle) Fish any where in those cuts and marsh. Hot right now with Flounder and Reds.
