Bachelor Party

Buddy of mine want's to go off shore fishing for his bachelor party. Any recommendations for around February an March, there getting married in April. Was thinking of trying to book something out of Venice. Thanks in advance.

I will go ahead and get it out of the way, you will have to get more than one boat if more than six people.

Most of those big sport fishers you can rent go out of port fourchon.however, paradise outfitters is the best charter company out of venice. That time of year is great for some big yellows, I'll be out there again.

It is not so much about having a boat big enough, it is the license, most charters have a "6 pack" license and are thereby limited to 6 passengers, I do not know if there are any boats in Venice that take more than the 6, but there may be some, in Fourchon what ever is left of Steve Tommeny's operation had the bigger license, but I have heard horror stories from that operation for years

In your opinion. Id put Mexican Gulf at the top but theres a lot to choose from and the majority are good.
