Looking at making an upgrade with my arrows. Currently shooting the Blackout's from BPS. Yes, I know they're made by Gold Tip and should be fine, but I've heard that they're not made to the same tolerances as GT. What arrows does the OB recommend?
Also, 30" shafts or custom cut? I've heard a lot of guys say 30" shafts shoot better out of their bows than the shorter arrows.

I thought this was going to be a thread about pest control. I have nothing to add in regards to arrows. Never owned one.

I’ve been shooting Easton Full Metal Jackets for several years without complaints.

I've shot full metal jackets for years, and just switched to the GoldTip Kinetic Pierce. Reason I switched, after I would shoot a deer or two with the full metal jackets, the end would get a small hairline crack in the aluminum. They both weigh about the same, but I do like a relatively heavy arrow even though I sacrifice a few feet per second.
Also, I would go to a real pro shop and buy the arrows and have them custom cut them. This way, the shop can properly spine your arrows to your bow. It will make tuning and shooting your bow a lot better since you will have the correct spine for your draw length/draw weight.

I shoot Gold Tip Kinetics standard and Kaos. 1" shorter than my draw length to stiffen spine for running weight forward. Total arrow weight is 508 grains.
You want awesome arrows and get set up properly hit up jerry at Southshore Archery. He lives by me so I get to chat with him about set ups. He builds great arrows to your correct spine.

I shoot Gold Tip Hunter Series and love them. I have also heard Easton FMJs are pretty good also.
