I don’t think ford makes a 3.7L

Options are:
3.3L V6
2.7L turbo V6
3.5L turbo V6
5.0L V8

Comparison of the 3.7 non turbo v6 and a 3.5 ecoboost.
The transit 350 comes in both. Finding all the options I am looking for on one is difficult.

The Ford 3.7 regular V6 with no boost was in F150 a few years ago. I think the 3.5 Ecoboost was the only ecoboost engine in the F150 until the 2.7 was added.

What engines are we supposed to be comparing here

Get the 3.5 ecoboost. The 3.7 V6 is going to way under powered loaded down with passengers. I don't think the two engine are comparable in your situation.

3.5L EcoBoost 365 HP & 420 TQ
3.7L 302 HP & 278 TQ

Not even in the same ball park!

Maybe a 3.7 with 2.7 Eco but even that is a stretch..

It's easy:

2.7 if you want a good all around engine and don't tow heavy or a lot.

5.0 if you still want a v8 and don't want to mess with turbos

3.5 if you tow alot and want the most powerful motor the f-150 non Raptor offers.
