Screw CCA.....yeah say that with a gill net up your arse, dead fish all over the banks, and nothing but 10 inch fish. (LOL) CCA members got the damn gill nets out of the water in most states and got the death threats, keyed trucks, and all the BS. years ago. Every fisherman now benefits.

They drew the white chaulked body outlines outside our houses in Mississippi. Keyed and vandalized my truck and boat some many times I would only launch in Ocean Springs were they we not tolerated.. (Try explaining that to your wife and kids one morning) STAR is a way to raise money for the nonprofit and make fishing more fun.

Don't want to pay the money that is fine, but a little more respect for the fisherman that put and are putting their time, effort, money and (in my days lives on the line) for you to catch more and better fish would be appreciated.

I know the person that won the Snapper division.

I can't say too many good things about him, except that he can catch the hell out of some snapper.

Edited because of psychos on other TD boards.

Funny thing was he didn't even win Swollfest with that snapper. Winner wasn't registered.

It's public record. Everyone knows about it.

I just found the link. It's not hard to find.

It would be nice if you would edit part of that out. But I really DGAF if you don't.

This is the biggest joke that CCA has not refuted. The movement was started by Save Our Specks (SOS) which then became Gulf coast Conservation Association (GCCA) These groups along with many volunteers got the gill nets banned . Then CCA came along and took claim for the gill net ban. What a joke.

GCCA and CCA are one in the same you dumbfrick.

In 1997...
"We've changed our name to protect the innocent," becomes the catch phrase for the name change. GCCA of Louisiana officially becomes CCA Louisiana.
