How much money you looking to spend?

A lot? I'd go with the Knights SR-20 DSR

If not as much? BCM

Really depends on your budget. I have a DD DDM4 PDW and love it.

Bought mine from them in July. Not a bad price considering they are selling on GB for $2300-$2500

homemade custom. the build was in the AR thread somewhere. 10.5" barrel, kinda wish i went shorter now. Plabbing a 5.56 pistol with a shorter 7.5 or 5.5 barrel. for plinking. 300blk is too expensive.

These might be dumb questions but I see a lot of cans in these pics. What’s the deal with owning them? Do you have to pay the $200 tax to have one?

Once you have a can is it registered for a single firearm?

I know you can apply and receive approval for an SBR, can you couple an SBR with a can?

200 a can. it is not firearm specific. you can put it on any firarm you want, assuming the can is rated for it.

a SBR requires a Stamp. So if you put a suppressor on a SBR you have 2 tax stamps, one for each.

it will only be shot suppressed. I shot my standard 5.56 AR with the suppressor and the blowback was ungodly. will never shoot suppressed without an adjustable gas block that again.

Here's mine. Built from mostly PSA parts.

EDIT: I see you said pistol now, not SBR.

Got it, thanks. One more, on an SBR the stamp # is engraved on the lower receiver. Does the can require something similar?

I bought some at .60 cpr from Minuteman Munitions and the fricking Fed Ex driver stole them. This is the second time that I've had ammo scanned onto the truck and then mysteriously disappear. I'm not saying it was misdelivered. It was never scanned at delivery, so the driver can't claim he delivered it. FedEx confirms it got onto the truck and then GONE. They've got to put that sticker on the outside of the box, so the drivers know what is in that box.
Same thing happened to me. Bought a box of 9mm from Midway. Made it to Atlanta in a couple days. Scanned and put on the FedEx delivery truck, then it magically disappeared. Took them 16 days to declare the package lost, and by then 9mm had gone up $.10/round. And the last little frick you from FedEx...they offered a refund for the cost of the box of ammo, but didn't offer a refund for the shipping

With that price range, I'd do this:

BCM 9" Upper - $680

BCM complete lower with SBA3 brace - $475

BCM BCG - $190

Geissele CH - $90

Trijicon MRO with Larue mount - $460

Surefire Mini Scout Pro - $260

Surefire SR07 - $100

That would put you under $2,300 (minus any taxes/shipping) and give you a complete gun that will run as good as you will ever need it to. Not sure if you run a can but you could use the remainder for a muzzle device or just run an A2.

Get the DDM4. If you ever need to sell it or trade it, much easier. Also you have a complete warranty.

I believe it is the manufacturer name, you or your trust, and the city and state of you or your trust. No numbers.

And nothing for your supressor. It has a seri number and your stamp has that serial number in it.
