The price of 1911 pistols is amazingly reasonable. Tisas, Rock Island and a few other are providing .45 ACP pistols better than our guys carried in WW2 for very little $.
Palmetto State has a few good options.

I have 2 of them. One on the back patio and one in the garage for shtf situations.
They shoot just fine and are not bad for accuracy either. I wouldn’t hesitate to have one as a truck gun or what I use them for at all. For the price, they’re damned near free and a good weapon at that.

OP has the 92 Xtreme S trigger kit for $120. Looks like a 2-4 week wait on shipping. I have 3 92’s. One is a Wilson 92 with their Action Tune, one with a Langton trigger and other has the Extreme S. To be honest they are all about the same great trigger. So buy the PSA and get the Xtreme S from optics planet. You’re about $250-$325 cheaper than what the LTT Np3 gun cost with trigger and trigger bar from LTT.
Thinking about the compact as it’s in clearance too.
