Thinking about doing a level on my 2500. Looking at the Cognito 3" level in front and 1 inch rear. Question is it worth the extra $600 to go with the Fox PS 2.0 IPS shocks? I have the Z71 with OEM ranchos. Ride isn't terrible just wondering if the Fox shocks are worth the extra $$$.

Make sure you factor in the increased fuel consumption and cost (guaranteed) as a result of leveling it.

Why would the fuel consumption be higher from leveling (assuming tires aren't changed)

I work from home and don’t drive but 100 miles per week so MPG isn’t a huge deal.

When you change the factory rake of the vehicle fuel consumption will increase

Nobody answered your question. I would buy the fox kit but not the reservoir shocks. I think the reservoirs are to keep the shock fluid from boiling if you are driving on super bumpy roads for a long time.

The Ranchos are garbage. I am about to go with Bilstein 5100s.

If you can afford a 2021 2500 then just get then shocks you want. It's 600 more. Bilsteins and fox are Def better than Ranchos on there

600 is a drop in the hat compared to what you spent on that truck.

I just switched my Rancho quicklift struts to the Fox 2.0. Night and day difference. Go with the Fox 100%
