Do y'all find that the arse end is too light now that they have the aluminum body work?
If so, is it something you just deal with or is there a solution like adding weight in the back.

the metal is thin, the difference in a steel bed vs an aluminum one is only about 100 lbs actually. i have carried beds on and off trucks and there isnt much weight to the steel ones either.
if you are breaking lose change the gearing in the rear end to solve your issues. if its about the ride then do some suspension mods, maybe air bags so you can adjust it to your liking and it rides super smooth

I haven't noticed a difference. But now that you've planted that in my head, I'm gonna probably think I notice something..

The rear shocks are probably my only complaint with the truck itself. It'll try to step out on you if you hit a series of bumps that unsettles it. Might be what you're experiencing?

Perhaps. I figured it was just due to the light weight. Does it get loose at higher speeds?

Not a high speed thing, no. <45mph with a washboard set of bumps.

That’s every truck ever in the history of trucks

It might have been 100% in my head, but when my 2015 F150 flooded, I got a F250 just because of that. Power was great, ride was great, technology was great, but I felt like towing and stopping suffered greatly.

You should get the new Silverado with the Inline 6 Duramax diesel:

I don't feel like shelling out a million dollars for 6 cyl diesel

Holy shite! They finally realized tires are round!
Still, I think Chevy’s are progressively getting uglier.
ETA: On topic, my previous truck was a 2006 Silverado. Just recently bought a 2017 F150. I don’t know if there is much difference between the ‘16 and ‘17, but the rear end on my Silverado was more squirrelly than the F150. I don’t find the rear end on the F150 squirrelly at all.

I don't have anything against Chevy, but yeah....the squared fender wells were "intriguing"...

A lot of people change out the factory shocks to fox or bilstein.
Play with the air pressure in tires.
They have good traction control.

ive had my new F150 for 6 months and haven't noticed anything weird about the rear end being light. I have noticed it rides a lot better than my 2012 f150 i traded in.

I know if you are going 70+ mph and you hit that 3.5 Ecoboost a little too hard on wet pavement making a pass it can slip some... scared the shite out of me at that speed.

That's due to having a solid rear axle more than the shock absorbers.
