Not too much Slick. I like old school hunting too much. This stand isn't a great smokepole stand though could have a 220 yd shot.

I'd love to do that one day, but I haven't killed nearly enough deer and don't have nearly enough time now. Only one wall hanger in my life and he wasn't even that big. I need to focus on maximizing my opportunities now. I enjoy the primitive-ness of the outdoors and plan to kill a deer with a recurve and a flintlock one day.

Slick let Trevor get a few years older and y'all come shoot at my place. I shoot in my backyard. I have 4 flintlocks from .27 cal to .55 cal. We can shoot up to about 700 yds. My son is ony about 1 year older than Trevor they will have a ball

Sounds good. Thanks again for the email you sent me back in October. Nice to hear from someone who went through a similar situation.

Check your mail when you get a chance. I made a video for my wife and for Trevor when he gets a little older.

Seapickle i saw u were hunting my area past few days in Washington parish. Those were some rough conditions and unfortunatley in Washington parish they don't always move in ideal conditions.

Don't know that today is ideal but finished work early and wife said go I didn't ask anything further. They are gonna bust loose rut here any day now

just checked camera on both food plots. do not have any deer on camera since the 25th. why have they disappeared? we at least have had a few pictures each night so far this season. I'm in Washington parish, if that helps.

That's odd Seapickle. We are still getting lots of pictures on camera in Washington Parish. Just not many in the day time.
