freezing my balls off, no sign of a deer. Just got back home to do some work and going to try and make a mid-day hunt. A little frost on the ground this morning so maybe they'll move later. In post-rut up here.

Left BR around 730 this morning and got in the stand around 930. Should have some mid day activity today.

Didn't see jack this morning. The frustration overtook me about 8:30 so I went and checked a camera. 140+ inch 8 point day before Christmas Eve at 4:00 in the afternoon.

I've been sick since last Wednesday so I haven't been able to hunt at all.

I hate being off of work and not being able to hunt.

I'm taking off tomorrow for my wife's birthday and she said I could hunt in the morning since I couldn't hunt the last few days. Hopefully I'll feel better.

"You would have to talk to Dad about that. I know he charges $500 for the bull and $50 for the pig, but I don't know how much he charges for Howard."

Efeliciana parish. Box stand in woods. 270 rem with 130 gr nosler partitions. Already had one doe pass. 58 and north wind. I'm about to put 1/2 a can of cope in and enjoy this afternoon.
