I gotta pack up camp and head home after the morning hunt. Planning to get a nap in before I head out. Only way I’m missing nap time is if I’m caping one out.
Good luck y’all!

Box blind where I’ve been seeing does crossing in the morning, should be seeing some trailing soon. Will probably kick off next week during the record heat predicted.
Seeing racked bucks at the feeders at night, zero during the day. I mean zero. Still too many acorns on the ground to get them to feeders or food plots.

I have tried all sorts of things but cannot resolve this issue. Im never cold and sometimes quite warm everywhere else and just power through it

Clark Lake near Springfield OH
Temps will be around 40
South Wind at 10-13 mph
PSE Surge with NAP Thunderheads

I’ll get out there around 11am and head to a spot where bucks hung out last winter and this Spring. Rut is over so I have to go back to their old routines. The wind sets up perfect for me to get back there without spooking them. I’ve passed on way too many this season on public land so it will be hard to pass on anything 6 points or bigger now.
