You are hunting machine! You always in the stand. I hunted to 11 and saw only robins. Windy in Sherburne.

As long as mamas happy, I can come and go as I please. Plus I took a week off of work and she knows the drill after 8 years.
In the woods this evening trying to buck this wind. Weather app won’t load but I figure it’s around 50 and 5-10 mph WNW wind. Gusty too.
Looking for bone

Magee MS
Cold
30-30 in a little plot between a bottom and planted pines. Seen a lot of deer on there feet on the way up and on the lease roads.
So far just a fox with a damn good looking coat.

Just had a doe and 2 youngins cross within 100 yds downwind of me and she was chilling.
Scent killer washing detergent with the autumn scent dryer sheets ftw. Maybe a hint of red seal wintergreen and post deer skinning fots on the side

I love that round within 150 yds. 170 grain soft point does absolute work

Son missed his first doe. He said he was shaking.

3030 is hell of a deer round. I will be using mine in the morning.

Good!!
Sorry he missed though, there’ll be plenty more!
I still get shook up when I’m scoped up on something, even if I can’t shoot it.
The day I quit getting that feeling is the day I’ll hang up hunting.
