Probably the issue

ebay ($150)

Evap codes just mean your losing gas vapors. In your case, it probably means the part is shabby or you need to retighten some of your seals.

My work car is a 05 Envoy, the gas gauge has been screwed up for a while. Sending has been replaced but it still messes up.

05-08 had some real shitty gauge clusters.

03 to 08 is more like it. None of my gauges work on my 03 right now. I got a recall notice a couple years ago saying that if I was under 80,000 miles, they would replace it at no charge. Well I was already at 95,000 and I wasn't having any problems yet, so I didn't bother with it. Now the dealership wants $350 for a new cluster and last I checked, its still not available after market.

I have a 08 2500HD diesel and haven't had any gauge problems but the truck has had 3 broken glow plugs in the last 20k miles and has already had the power door locks changed and i now have trouble with my passenger window switch.

ETA: Truck only has 52k miles
