At home on call with some coffee. It’s warm in here and my lab is snoring.

Y’all shoot some animals!

Hunting my best spot, I don’t think we’ve had back to back really good mornings like this yet this season.

Moved from liberty to Centreville for my last hunt of the season

Of course, slept through the alarm and got a late start.

Ladder Stand overlooking several trails
This stand won’t make it after this hunt, now have two broken rungs. It’s a death trap

Big Bucks Only

Headed back to Houston around lunch time

ETA - in my haste to get out the door I missed my morning shite. Turning out to be a HUGE mistake.

Just had a lone doe appear out of thin air at 30 yds and blow at me twice, then bailed. Fack!

Amite County MS..again
Loud, rickety box..again
7mm mag..again
Looking for results..again

Hunt here for 15 hrs the last two days and see a doe and yearling twice, back half of a deer, and a spike
Get quarter mile from my house in Tangipahoa Parish and see probably the third biggest buck I’ve ever seen chasing a doe. He stopped in woods broadside about 30 ft from me. About 1000 things ran through my head in 3 seconds.

This is the main hour that deer move especially during rut.
