The women’s basketball team, they brought home the gold baby! Very clean, crisp play to beat a juggernaut France team at their place. Phenomenal play by the ladies!

Ledecky. Hocker's win was awesome, but she's a once in a lifetime athlete.

Finke…he won the last swimming event and broke the world record in the 1500 freestyle that was set by a doping Chinese swimmer. He saved the US from not having an individual gold medal in men’s swimming for the first time in Olympic history.

It was a pretty awesome olympics.

Hall’s face down the stretch will be one I remember and Curry’s shots in the final.

Suni Lee - 6 months ago her gymnastics career was thought to be over. She just won 3 medals.
In 6 months she went from "it's over" to Olympic champion.

I think the women's fencing team set the "breakthrough' tone (which we did in other events, like distance running) early in this Olympics.

The Gold Medal match was two Americans...

Gold
Silver

And...The U.S. women’s fencing team made history on August 1 as it beat Italy in the foil team gold-medal match bout, earning its first team gold at the Olympics..

Quincy Hall

That was the most piss and vinegar finish I have ever seen. Got my juices flowing

To me, the fairy tale American authentic trope is we find a way. That man broke all form, all process, all game plan, and just nutted it out

I legit was proud as hell as a middle aged man watching him do it

All good choices, and all are deserving.

Ryan Crouser, 3x Shot Put Gold Medalist. Every one of his throws would have won the Gold Medal.

I enjoy seeing the favorites give everything they have to win on the biggest stage.

I also enjoy the come from nowhere athletes who also give everything to do something they’ve done before.

Scottie breaking down at his Medal Ceremony was something you’ll never forget.

Noah Lyles, humbly singing the National Anthem, was awesome.

Curry was in another world. Great picture.

I'm not sure but I sort of developed a crush on Gabby Thomas and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone

Gabby Williams is the only valid choice. In the last chance to get a gold and even us up with the Red Menace, it was Gabby Williams' shot from inside of three at the last second of the gold medal women's basketball game that allowed the US team to win gold on the very last day of competition in these olympics. If gabby would have bothered to shoot and make that same shot from about 4" further out, the outcome might have had the US finishing second.

All the track and field chicks kicked arse. Sha'Carri, Gabby, Sydney, Davis-Woodhall, Russell.
