It's supposed to be anonymous but you don't know how many of these went out (could be as few as two or as many as 10) and it's like Fight Club....you're not supposed to talk about it. You do know you were selected because the person does get to select their assessors.

Best method to answer the questions?

Brutal honesty?
Say what they want to hear?
Flip-flop back and forth full of compliment sandwiches?

I'm wondering if I should just submit my resignation letter now and exactly how fricked am i?

The the truth "straight down the middle."

Be diplomatic with the presentation of criticism.

Avoid over-the-top praise.

I always do brutal honesty on these. It’s about the only time you can tell bosses what they need to here. Go for it.

I hope you work at a place where honesty is the best/only answer.

Well, is the boss’s boss any good at his job or is he a loser?

Don’t provide your opinion, provide examples of how the leader handled situations.

Honest answer?

I'd be as brutally honest as I am every day.

I'm 99% sure I'm kept around a a reality check to self indulgent counts

Oh you mean for you. Ok, wear rubber gloves and cut your answers out of the newspaper using single letters or words.
