Her biggest issue was the fact that her music sucked

I thought she blew her career when she tore up the Pope’s picture.
Turns out, she was right.

Regardless, that was some belly rubbing music at senior prom in 1990 , and at that moment I really was not concerned with her political views

All she had to do was hide the crazy a little better like functioning women do.
She was quite attractive with any amount of hair at all.

I’m pretty sure she shaved her head to intentionally look less attractive. That was the actual purpose behind it
I believe you are correct
not only not hiding the crazy, flaunting it
Seriously, why?

Mental illness destroys careers and lives all the time.
Back in the late 80s/early 90s, SNL ran a hilarious skit with whoever impersonated Sinatra, calling her Skinhead, Sinbad, anything but her actual name.

I used to think there was something hot about her having a bald head.
quote:
Her only hit was a Prince cover.
He wrote a few songs that became a band/artist biggest hit.
The Bangles Manic Monday..
I think he wrote one of Alicia Keys' hit songs. I think he wrote one for Stevie Nicks.. Forgot which one.. But he was good at what he did...

To be fair she had her biggest hit after she shaved her head. Tearing the Pope's picture up on SNL killed her career.
