Y’all like to imagine the NRA a sinister force in American politics, that single handily prevents ‘common sense’ gun control.

What if the NRA accurately represents the views of million of members, and non members?

What if the issue isn’t the NRA, but your fellow Americans, Americans who disagree with you - strongly.

ANY lobbying force is sinister.

Funny how conservatives bitch about lobbyists during election time but throw their money at the NRA.

I don't think lobbyist groups should be part of our government because their job is to influence lawmakers to pass laws that favor them. Our government is "of the people" not "of a bunch of special interest groups".

It’s just recruiting. A coach can say anything they want but it’s up to the player to make their choice

Because that's what lobbyist do you retard. You are completely missing the point.

You're the retard that missed reading the rest of that part of my post. Notice how I quoted you right after the colon? Put the two together and try again you comprehension challenged tardling...

You do mean poorly educated on the subject of the NRA right?

Poorly educated on the topic as a whole. Painfully obvious you don't have a clue which is why you parrot the usual talking points in every response.

And I question what does the NRA actually do for the average NRA member. What do you gain by being a member?

Besides membership discounts? An 800lb gorilla that makes sure gun-control advocacy remains a political loser. A big, shiny target for idiots like you to focus on while groups like the GOA and SAF (who are far more uncompromising than the NRA) are working in the courts and scoring US Supreme Court victories. Things you'd understand if not for your dismal education here...

because not having ties with them in the first place means they decided not to support them.

What a moronic leap in logic, so typical...

Seems like a bad business decision. Just stay out of this shite if you are yeti, poor move. I don't buy their shite anyway, I have one product that was gifted to me.

Well, for starters, I had a Democrat break into my house a steal some firearms. The NRA cut me a check to replace them. So there’s that.

You mean to tell me you only buy products from companies that give money to the NRA? Do you brainwash that easily?

What about when you go grocery shopping? Do you only buy canned corn from brands that donate you the NRA? Do you research which underwear companies donate to the NRA before making a purchase? Why would your ice chest manufacturer be any different?

So he can see the shitstorm that yeti just stepped in and wishes he would have bought stock in an American competitor.

Anyone who can’t see this as a monumental clusterfrick is obtuse.
