Would I drive it? Sure.
Would I buy it? Absolutely not. I'm going to assume they're well north of $100,000 and if I was going to spend that money on a Bronco(or Defender) I'd just spring for one of the Coyote swapped restomods.

No.
Though, if they insist I hope someone is buying up all those drivetrains and they aren't just going to the crusher.

and for $199,999, you too can drive an electric 1972 Ford Bronco
This is for rich people that just want the novelty of having a classic vehicle.

Love the classic Broncos but those wheels absolutely suck.

Can't help but notice that there is no timeframe on this.

No, but for an extra couple grand you can get a certified authentic downloadable mp3 drivetrain soundtrack. Tack on the external speaker package for $3,200 and all the other drivers won't know the difference.

I'm not buying anything electric for many years. I don't trust the reliability of the technology.

I find the current bronco a bit cringy
Even desperate

A fully restored 1st Gen Bronco could easily fetch more, so yeah it wouldn't be out of the question for $250k.
Of course the people looking to spend $250k on a Bronco would probably want the original engine.

Put a 351 and a 4spd in the bronco and we'll talk.

No thanks on the real life Sir Miles Axlerod
I'd rather keep the original classic than frick it up like that.
