WWE Monday Night Raw Thread: Turmoil in the Tag Team Division Edition

Everyone's news today is about All Out from last night and since I can't bring up All Out or AEW in general without TRC becoming a giant troll and trying to insult people who enjoy AEW b/c apparently Tony Khan fricked his mom... let's just move on to tonight's preview.
WWE Monday Night Raw tonight comes from the FTX Arena (formerly the American Airlines Arena... home of the Miami Heat) in Miami, Fla.
RK-Bro wants to know who will challenge them first for the Raw Tag Team Championship... so tonight there will be a tag team turmoil match to determine that first challenger... New Day vs. AJ Styles & Omos vs. Viking Raiders vs. Mustafa Ali & Mansoor vs. Lucha House Party vs. Jinder Mahal & Veer vs. Mace & T-Bar... we're all cheering for the ex-anarchists, right?
In what will be the match of the night I'm sure b/c the chances of it going off the rails are pretty good... the Raw Women's Championship will be on the line as Charlotte Flair defends against the woman who pinned her clean last week... Nia Jax.
What's this? An actual #1 contender's match instead of a "championship contender's match"???? Drew McIntyre faces Sheamus where the winner goes to Extreme Rules to challenge Damian Priest for the United States Championship.
WWE doesn't make clear in its preview if this is a title match or not... but the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Natalya & Tamina battle the newly-formed tag team of Nikki A.S.H. & Rhea Ripley.
And 24/7 shenanigans are off for a moment b/c there will be an actual match in the ring for the title tonight as Reggie and his flippy shite defends the 24/7 Championship against Akira Tozawa.

Punk today revealed how out of touch with reality he really is. He said that Bryan and Cole debuting in AEW was bigger than Hall and Nash showing up on Nitro.

FTX Arena... as noted above is the home of the NBA's Miami Heat... it can seat upwards of 20,000 people for its concert configuration

Probably Covid restrictions. They don’t want to deal with the hassle of having things locked down and having to refund half of their tickets.
The Smackdown show is pert near sold out save for the cheap seats and resale tickets are going for 2-5x times face value.

Hall and Nash on Nitro was cool, but the needle moved at Bash at the Beach. The original plan of AJ showing up would be close.
If Ashely and Mercedes(or Ronda returns to)jump ship it will be closer to that, too . Cole and Danielson are huge gets, and everyone knows it.
AEW will have to introduce a new title or hold more tournaments to balance the pushes.
Something like the X division or Pure Rules.
Speaking of Pure Rules, ROH seems to be left out in the cold here. The Villain sure did take his relationships with him out the door.
Also, has Colt Cabana commented on Punk yet?

That’s a lot of text to say I’m right…..I don’t care if you hate WWE, McMahon, etc…..Hall and Nash showing on Nitro started clearing the path for what wrestling is today…..that forbidden door AEW always takes about they kicked it in that night.
Cole and Bryan aren’t close….Punk isn’t either….in fact outside of Lesnar there isn’t a man on this Earth that would be.

As confident as I was that Cole and Bryan would go I’m just as confident that Sasha and Flair don’t. I mean the AEW women’s division would be a huge step back for both of them in pay and prestige.

I don’t hate the WWE roster, just it’s creative.and their fanbase who doesn’t like pro wrestling. Mostly their presentation is tired.
The Forbidden Door refers territories, or in moderne terms, inter promotional bookings, not free agent signings. So no they didn’t.
Brock would be big,of course. But so would many legends. Including Punk, who’s return has more views.
And no, you(as in anyone) can’t count buys/gate of SummerSlam with Cena and Reigns as Lesnars return numbers
