they've actually been testing parachutes for small craft...

seem to work pretty good...

I'm flying a plane built in a garage, and am building another one in my shop. Plain old lycomings though.....

That sub sonnet has very limited range. Not good for much but saying you built a jet. The Czech engine is a bit of a question mark with that one....

Yeah. I flew in a homemade crop duster Stetchcat. As long as it passes the tests he had to go through for the FAA, and passes, I'm good. My best friend's Dad built it. He was a crop duster.

Hell no!

Had a BIL that built a plane and crashed it. It also killed his wife and then his baby had to be raised by our MIL. If you're not an engineer, don't frick with aircraft.
