Depends on what email you provided I would think.

Shhhh, a 2-minute conversation would reveal this to be an additional lie.

If the email account you used to register your TD account is attached to your real name in any way, then yeah, probably.

I take it you figured out the situation with the vague email from Publix?

90 percent of people have a questionable online footprint.

Unless you posted some pretty heinous stuff or are trying to get top secret background clearance, I wouldn't sweat it.

Probably only if you provide them with the email address you used to setup your TD account. Or, if you use your TD name on another site that is also tied to the email address you sent them.

Either way, would take some deep digging and probably nothing to be worried about

Post your real name and SSN and OT will be happy to do a background check to see what dirt pops up.

Probably not a generic background check, but if someone wanted to find something on you it is very possible.

If you aren't running a proxy it would be even better.

A generic job background check isn't going that far though.

This.

They don't want you to fail the background check. They are likely just calling old employers to get the time period you were there as well as calling schools to verify degrees. I actually am going through this now and I'm not near as concerned. I also am pretty tame on here and don't have TD concerns really

Edit: I always have a concern when they do a check because who the heck knows what random crazy thing could come up
