Or does Chicken face lawsuits every time they ban someone, does the ban itself have to go away. (Tiger rant etc are actually Texas corporations as Chicken is a Houston resident right.) What a complete clusterfrick.

Texas is now rivaling Florida as the state that can frick up anything. Let me guess without looking who was on that panel in the 5th circuit, edith jones, and Pricilla owen’s are dumb as dirt Texans so they had to have something to do with this stupidity. Basically no matter what direction anyone goes they are going to get sued. Even as a semi retired trial lawyer I think that’s ridiculous.

Texas idiot law

maybe as a condition of membership we all have to sign arbitration clauses with release saying we agree not to sue if we are banned, or pay a fee to become completely private group, (which would also suck )

. Edith Jones is dumb as a bag of bricks but even a blind squirrel finds an acorn sometimes. This is a great law and your left wing blinders won't let you see it.

Ahh, so is that 50 million actual people or does that include bots, or does it just count every post as using it. Probably not hitting that number anyway, until they all get kicked of twitter, facebook, tick tock, etc.

Maybe safest move to just to limit the number of Texans allowed. lol

It could reshape the rights and obligations of all websites; our relationship to technology and the internet; and even our basic, fundamental understanding of the First Amendment.

I'd wager that your "concern" is rooted in misunderstanding of the bill/situation. This is a long game play by Texas. The ultimate goal is going to be to force change in how tech/social media platforms handle what has clearly become censorship. The end result won't look like this bill, but hopefully it does force real change and accountability on a wider level.

If that upsets you, I'm not sorry.
