wired magazine: the "raw" epstein jail cell footage has been modified

The release was intended to address conspiracy theories about Epstein’s apparent suicide in federal custody. But instead of putting those suspicions to rest, it may fuel them further.
Metadata embedded in the video and analyzed by WIRED and independent video forensics experts shows that rather than being a direct export from the prison’s surveillance system, the footage was modified, likely using the professional editing tool Adobe Premiere Pro. The file appears to have been assembled from at least two source clips, saved multiple times, exported, and then uploaded to the DOJ’s website, where it was presented as “raw” footage.

The FBI enhanced the footage by adjusting contrast, color, and sharpness, and released both the enhanced and what it described as the “raw” version. Both versions of the video appear to have been processed using Premiere and include much of the same metadata. According to the FBI, anyone entering the area containing Epstein’s cell during the relevant time frame would have been visible on that camera.

Wired didn't just discover anything that wasn't already known.
Here is what happened. Epstein was arrested for sleeping with and getting massages from teenagers. He killed himself in jail.
The woman who helped him recruit these girls is currently in jail.

I think it's pretty obvious that he didn't kill himself. There was a mafia guy that stayed in that same cell prior to Epstein, and he said it would be nearly impossible to hang yourself in there.

I haven't really followed this story much so perhaps this is a dumb question, but wasn't it reported when this happened that both cameras which were watching his cell just happened to be out of order the night he died?

I don’t wonder if he killed himself or not. I wonder where the Israeli’s version of Witness Protection has put Epstein. There is 0% chance he is dead.

Not exactly, iirc. They malfunctioned for a few hours around when he killed himself. So, even worse

What is the conspiracy theory on how he was murdered?
Did Mossad sneak in at 1159 pm and inject a paralyzing agent, tie him up, then give him a delayed poison, and sneak out in 60 seconds or less?
I assume since this thread was started there must be some theories.

Epstein was a Mossad agent
He had an Israeli passport at his notorious New York penthouse
He was a lowly math teacher and suddenly was managing billion dollar hedge funds.
Nobody in the New York finance world knew who he was
He was funded directly by Israel (and ipso facto the United States)
He established precarious situations for powerful people in which he could collect material for blackmail and essentially control them
The generally agreed upon mechanism is parties or vacations to his island and during the course of those events underage women - some say children - were involved in sexual acts and Epstein would have evidence of that happening.
This is how they control people.

… there is so much fricking smoke around this story I question your general intelligence if you actually believe he was just a finance manager, had some crazy parties, maybe involved in prostitution, was arrested, and killed himself.
