Was hoping we may get an irruption with it being so cold up North, but so far, just my regulars at the feeders.

She looks like an old lady sitting on her front porch scowling at the neighborhood kids for playing in the street

When I pulled it up I couldn't help but think her inner monologue is "This snow is some bullshite".

Pretty apt that the "snow bird" is present. That's what my Pops and all the old folks around here called them.

all of those at my place this am, but we have 3 male and female Eastern Towhees, and 4 red winged black birds today - even a few baby and adult Blue Jays

I can see how bird watching would be fun. Probably more fun while sipping on some Irish Whiskey on the rocks.

I've seen almost all those on my feeder

Over the last week, we've been visited by dark-eyed juncos, tufted titmouses, orange-crowned warblers, purple finches, house finches, and tons of eastern bluebirds in addition to our usual cardinals, house finches, and carolina wrens.

The Dark Eyed Junco is also an interesting one to pay close attention to. There are many subspecies and color variations, and the species is one of the better examples of micro evolution in the bird kingdom. Because the ranges of various color variations/subspecies can overlap some hybridization is fairly common.
Just another reason to pay them more attention when they show up at the feeders every Winter. Ya never know, you might spot an oddball.

it really is - my wife's WFH desk is in our library with a view of the back yard. she can see the birds, Squirrels and the baby chipmunk we have.
a few weeks ago, we had about 300 cowbirds land int he front and back ray - looked like a Hitchcock scene - and then then flew about 5 houses down, grazed those yards, and then kept going - was amazing to see that ,any birds at 1 time
