I had surgery to remove a brain tumor and some of the tumor had to be left because the doctor said it was "sticky" and wrapped around nerves that if damaged could cause permanent facial paralysis.

Ever since the surgery I have experienced sever headaches from any bright lights and sunlight. Also I see halos around car lights at night.

Was thinking about trying to go through the process of obtaining a window tint exemption and tinting my windows dark to see if that would help.

The exemption won’t stop you from getting pulled over for a tint check and lots of nuisance tickets for other stuff because the LEO won’t like being proven wrong.

You gonna tint your windshield dark baw? Thats where your problem would lie

Used to be easy to get inspection sticker. Had to go to 4 places last month before somebody did it

I would try the legal tinting % to see if it helps first.

Since you have a legit reason, you’ll probably be able to get one. For the rando who just wants dark windows they are A LOT harder to obtain than they used to be.

The exemption doesn’t allow you to tint your windshield below the 6in line.

Just FYI

You’re either an idiot, a troll, or both.

The exemption literally gives you an orange exemption sticker so there is no “tint check” and none of the other stuff you posted even makes sense.

My wife's car has legal tint and it helps a little but my daily driver doesn't.

Id mostly like to go as dark as legally possible on the rear window.

Those lights in the morning from drivers behind me are horrible.

Not to sound like a smart arse but would not tinted glasses be easier and more effective?

Try that and ask them to do the brow on the front windshield.

Sounds like you need the limo tint that all the trashy people get.

Your PCP should be able to help facilitate this for you.

Since you have documented side effects from a confirmed medical condition (brain tumor diagnosis - code Z85.841), have your treating physician write a medical disability letter and keep it in your glove compartment. Same procedure people use to get handicap tags and parking permits.

That's what I was thinking. Seems like sunglasses while driving, even at night, would be a better solution.

I am ignorant to this subject, but wouldn't a quality pair of wrap around sunglasses be just as effective. Maybe some of the amber lenses for driving at night. Do you wear sunglasses when not in the car to cut down the sunshine?

Who hypocritically drive around with blacked out windows.

It would be easier to get a job with law enforcement in some capacity, then do whatever the frick you want.

I bought a car from a Sheriff, had illegal tint and the front windshield tinted. Had to remove and replace it all. He LOL'd at causing him problems.

I had the exemption about 25 years ago. . Not sure how hard it is now. Had a dermatologist friend complete the medical exemption.
