Why Wokeness and Christianity have no commonality with one another

While with Christianity there is repentance, forgiveness, and mercy to be had, Wokeness does not afford anyone with any such luxuries, as an infraction will award you a lifetime sentence of alienation from society with as much pain and suffering as can be mustered against the person who finds themself on the wrong side of the woke crowd. There isn’t even a path to redemption through works, and the cloud is forever over one’s head until they are gone from us.

In Christianity there is our Creator who is able to discern the intentions of the heart when words are spoken, and only the Creator has that ability to do so, but with Wokeness, that is left up to the woke crowd to judge the intentions of the heart of the person who said the wrong thing, or that which is interpreted as coming from a bad place. A truly hypocritical and broken group of guilty human beings themselves will serve as your judge, jury, and executioner without remorse and without concern for your plight.

While Christianity demands that you humble yourself before your Creator and your God, and recognize Him as your Lord, Wokeness demands that you abase yourself publicly before man, admit to a wrong that you may or may not be guilty of, even throwing your own mother under the bus if needed to save your own skin, and all so that you can keep your position in life. However, if your perceived infraction is serious enough, the woke crowd will do whatever is necessary to you in order that they are seen as being woken enough and to put themselves in a higher sense of self righteousness to you in order to continue to receive man’s praises and the ability to sit at the table and eat their own scraps.

In short, wokeness was conceived by people who desperately need forgiveness and mercy themselves, but instead, the most hypocritical of religions has sprung to life, and it’s followers, be they motivated through fear, or self righteous devotion to it, are ascribing that which they themselves deserve, and without repentance themselves will one day receive what they dished out. But STILL, He who is able to judge and award the real separation they dish out to their fellow human beings has his hands out to forgive us and not give us what we truly deserve.

There is absolutely NO commonality between Christianity and Wokeness, and so if you see it practiced in Christianity, know that it has no place, and you probably have no place in that church either. It’s not Christian.

Just going to stop reading your diatribe here to go ahead and disprove your theory right off the bat.

I know many people, my step-mother included, who have been kicked out of their Church and shunned by their "friends" and fellow Christians for getting a Divorce.

I know some girls who have been kicked out of their church and shunned by it's members for getting pregnant out of wedlock (oddly enough, only the girl was kicked out in the two cases where both parents attended the church).

I know a person who was not only kicked out of his church, but shunned by his family, for converting to the Catholic Faith. He didn't do anything sinful, just found a Christian Sect whose teachings spoke to his soul more than the teachings he grew up with.

I have been a student at LSU when the Religious Zealots have taken over Free Speech Alley and called young girls just walking to class or their dorms every vile name you could think of, and every guy who walked by given the same treatment.

I've seen Christians bomb and kill people for merely working at legal medical clinics, and then get cheered and praised by other Christians.

I've witnessed Christians use their position in Religion to abuse young children and con their "Flock" into given them all their money and worldly possessions.

I've seen an entire Sect of Christianity have a schism because the leaders of the Religion decided to allow Women to be Pastors. A large group of a large Christian Sect freaked the frick out that women were given the chance to possess an authority role.

And this is just my response to your first paragraph.

Cut the shite and quit trying to perpetuate this bullshite concept of "Christians" being inherently better than "Woke" people.

People are people. People suck. Quit trying to hide your shittiness behind a cause, whether it be religious or wokeness.

It is political, and even if it weren't, forum rules state religious topics belong on the poliboard.

Profound in some points and perceptive. As the Bible states, “the human heart is desperately wicked”. Without God the human heart flies a path on it’s own destined to crash (I’ve seen it from my own and at times, and I have seen the worst in others). It circles in a vicious cycle that has never ended throughout human history. An elementary game of tit for tat amongst adults that causes immeasurable damage for a gain of nothing in the end.

I wish humans were more like Jesus (his heart, not the religion that many times misses much of it completely unfortunately,), but humans make the folly of making their own solutions and judgments which just usually adds more problems. It’s the forces at work and without God and no shield, they use anybody they want. It’s sad, but it’s how it works on weaknesses (even the smallest of them, then picks the scab), but the power comes from using many people, obviously. But, that is the true wage of sin and disobedience-the damage (sometimes unintentionally) done by those weaknesses.

I may have missed the mark on some things, but thank you for the post-it helped.

I’m pretty sure Christian Okoye hasn’t done any of those things, so it’s not all Christians.

I did nothing of the sort. If you took that from what I said, then that’s all on you as it sounds like you have a lot of unresolved stuff going on. All I did was clearly demonstrate how at odds the two belief systems are with one another, and have absolutely no place mixing as if they were the same or shared in some common goal or whatever. One seeks to serve God and give God glory, and the other only serves itself, and bathes in it’s own praises of men.
