I'm one of the 5.99% listed as Other Race, I checked other and wrote in "Cajun" I'm not sure why I did it but I did. Check it out, I'm in Encinitas, there are 2 people listed as Cajuns on the 2020 census.

This is true, but how did the Latin countries come to speak Spanish? From Europe.

See people tend not to like this but some Spanish speakers just say white in the census because the way race is used here is different in other places.

And I have no problem with it. What I have an issue with is the media labeling Hispanics as white or not to fit some narrative.

I’ll give an example, I work with someone who was born here but her parents are from Nicaragua. They are light skinned. But they are Latinos. She’s fluent in Spanish and English. And die hard conservatives that value family.

I forget to add that mestizo is the term for people in the areas down there. It’s just mixed with European and indigenous. In some areas they are trying to go away from that, probably because of liberal bullshite.

But basically people were labeled as that to have unity. Instead of saying everyone is a different race. But now in places like Brazil they want to segregate instead of the, we are all equal. It’s such regressive bullshite.

San Francisco had 56 homicides.
LA had close to
400 homicides but for a city of 4 million, not as bad as most
city's. Crime isn't the problem in Cali, it's the fact everyone wants to live there so housing is crazy expensive

Pretty much any answer to questions about why a city is nice or shitty is demographics. Liberal policies is always the other answer.

Not true really. Spanish Mediterranean and Mexican culture dominate cuisine and architecture. San Diego also has a ton of Pacific Islanders and Japanese immigrants.

I don’t think you get it.

Lots of gun toting ex-military there. You don't mess with former Jarheads, Navy Seals and SWCC folks.

Great seafood and Asian food.
