No. The entire reason that a market for diesel cars and trucks was created in the late 70s was because diesel was a cheaper option that regular and unleaded gas.

It's cheaper to refine, so it'd be great for someone to explain why it's more expensive.

but even at the large truck stops where Diesel is cycled through very fast, it is still high
The large truck stops are raping the mega carriers with their diesel prices.
The Large majority of diesel is sold o big rigs, those trucks can't get into any gas stations. The truck stops know this so they can keep their prices higher, because what are the big truck companies going to do about it??
It really hurts the single truck owner operators the most, the big truck companies don't care and most of them have big discount deals with diff truck stop brands

Intl and US distillate demand plays big role and do not necessarily follow consumer demand (gasoline prices).
Amazon / UPS / FedEx / DHL / Penske / JB Hunt / Schneider / etc are moving the things to fulfill all of your orders and are not all running on LNG. Supply/Demand picture is not same as consumer gasoline.

Why is it Biden’s fault when the prices go up, but not to his credit when they go down?
Posted on 9/4/22 at 12:23 pm to sabes que
Because it is still $2 higher than when he took office

Gas prices were super low under George W during the recession, should we praise him? Also it’s not $2 more.

So you are saying Republicans are great for low gas prices?

There are a thousand factors that go into gas prices is the point. But as soon as they go up, it’s “muh Biden”, but when they go down it’s because of “other factors”

Yea man killing oil field leases and pipelines had zero impact on pricing.

What has Biden done to lower prices? List them?
The administration just lost a lawsuit over oil leases. They are obstructing O&G just as Biden promised
Biden “I Guarantee You We’re Going To End Fossil Fuels”

That one was great for overseeing a huge economic downturn, and that did lower gas prices, so if the shoe fits

You know why, it’s being intentionally obtuse to further an agenda rather than talk actual truths

Why did you not quote "during the recession"?
The recession that Bush had nothing to do with? The one from the dot com pop and 9-11?
Would you rather have low gas prices during a recession like Bush had or high gas prices during a recession with an administration promising to end oil as Biden has given us? Then when called out they say just go buy an electric car.
I am no GWB fan but at least he didn't actively rally against O&G and then taunt people when they complain about it while sending billions to other countries.

Biden has taken 90+ well documented actions, most of which via Executive Order, against the US O&G companies. To say he hasn’t had a negative impact short or long term on that industry is obtuse
