Gotta love the half-baked ideas of what should constitute natural selection from power-tripping "bros" who actually don't know anything about science. Everything is just a knee-jerk reaction.

Turns out adhering to evolution and natural selection led to hundreds of millions of dead people in the 20th century. So they had to hush it up unless people figured out marxism is a meat-grinder theology.

It's a thing called compassion. That is apart of what makes us human. If we see a child dying from cancer. For most folks, it will break our heart. Most people would be inclined to pray for the child, and donate money if able, etc.
Very few people would go, "frick that child. It's his fault that his genes arent strong enough to live".
