Why do parents let kids run wild at resturaunts and drinking establishments?

I'll never understand the mindset of just letting a kid scream while running around where people are eating and drinking. Obviously excluding babies. Also not sure why toddlers are at a brewery past 8:30 PM, but I guess I am just a hater.

I hate this as well. This is really bad at curbside. No one wants your kids running around. If you want that take them to a playground

In the case of my young family members, it's poor parenting. Parents don't want to parent so they let their kids cause a scene because they don't want to deal with them.
