Why did apple change numbers where it auto corrects 20 to 2-0 and 30 to 3-0 and so on?

Who types out 2-0 more often than the number 20 or for any other digit divisible by 10? Am I actually the weird one who rarely types out 2-0 or something?

what i wonder is why Apple and other phone mfg's allow the N word to be typed on their phones if the word is so bad. great way to curb the use of it.

I believe a Reddit post has the answer! The autocorrect is trying to match app names in the autocorrect. So if you have an app installed with 5-0 or 2.0, the phone is using those app names as a dictionary. The “fix” was to delete those apps AND restart the phone after deleting the apps. This has been an extremely frustrating problem.
