99% chance we will never know.

Thinking it’s possible the dude didn’t survive the jump, someone found him, took the money, and burned the body.

He was smart enough to nail every detail of the successful hijack. I’m sure he checked the weather. Lol.

I imagine he wanted, and was able to jump during those conditions to make it harder and take longer for people to track him.

He got off clean but is most likely dead by now since that was so long ago.

He survived it. It’s either the guy from San Diego or a Canadian. The feds kept that open for 45 years; they didn’t do that because they thought he died.

They did that because it is unsolved. The most likely outcome was his death in the jump.

In the 45+ years that the matter was ongoing, though, Florence was shown hundreds of photos of possible suspects, and she could never positively identify any of them as D.B. Cooper.

Looks like the Shield agent from Avengers movies

actor Clark gregg

Feds kept it open and avoided statute of limitations by indicating an unknown name.

Dude planned it meticulously. Knew how slow and low the plane could fly, even better than the pilots. The fact they found some of the money buried and found no trace of him in such a massive manhunt leads me to believe that he made it.
