Sad to say it was MD20/20 (Concord Grape) and a case of Busch. I was poles back then. QuikSilver drive thru in old Mandeville or on the Causeway Approach. Can't remember. But I was rocking the Mustang with my ridiculous Pioneer sound system I paid way too much for. I am disgusted by young me.

I'm not 21 yet, but my first alcohol purchase was 2 cases of bud light. I was 17 and didn't shave for 3 weeks prior, just so I could supply my friends party with alcohol.

Don't remember first drink purchase at 21 but I do remember my first drink purchased for me pre legal age. Taaka vodka and off brand root beer.

my first alcohol purchase was at 15. Curley's bar on Main Street in Houma.
First alcohol purchase at 21 was Miller Lite at the Circle K on State street/Highland. I waited two years to be able to throw my (now legal) ID in that cashiers face, and the motherfricker didn't even card me.

pissed me off to no end.

Y'all are bad at this thread. The question wasn't your first alcohol purchase ever. EVERYONE bought alcohol before they were 21, this doesn't make you special

I remember my first purchase. 17 years old French Quarter. A hugh a$$ beer stop. It was a Bud. Many years ago when you had to be 18 to drink in Louisiana.

I remember my first alcohol purchase at 17. A pack of Miller Ponies. Tastes change. You couldn't pay me to drink one of those these days.

I can remember my first "legal" beer when I turned 18 - Miller High Life at the Caterie, September 2, 1979.

there was an old store called reds in the back of greentown. we were about 15 when they started letting us buy alcohol. Mostly boones farm and MD 20/20. It was all about getting shitty for cheap. If you didn't throw up at the end of the night you were doing it wrong. Somewhere around 92-93'
