For many reasons but, primarily, because only one group thought it'd be a good idea to storm our nation's capitol building in an effort to overthrow our federal government because a bunch of clowns have convinced them that the 2020 election was rigged.

She was part of a hostile crowd trying to break into the Capitol with the intent to stop congress from officially naming Joe Biden president.
Trump filed 86 lawsuits in an attempt to overturn election results and 86 judges, including judges he appointed, threw out his lawsuits because of law of evidence.
There is audio of him pretty much telling Georgia's SOS how many votes he needed him to "find" so that he could win the state of Georgia.
On election night, there were Trump supporters in some states chanting "stop the count, stop the count" and in other states chanting "count the votes". My point of saying this is just in case someone will say "but he was cheated out of being the next president". No he wasn't.
Yet all of those people who decided to break into the Capitol did so with the intent to disrupt Joe Biden from being confirmed as President of the US.
They were trying to overturn results of an election because they didn't like the results. That was an act of terror. It was an attack on US Congress
This is what one person was charged with.

If you watch the video. The police have barricaded the entrance to the senate. They have the doors locked and furniture against the doors.
The deseased broke a high up window and proceeded to crawl through. While she turned out to not be a threat. I think we'll see the officers actions not seen as criminal. Had she had a weapon or bomb she could have killed a senator. I'm actually surprised more people didn't get shot.
Go jump the white house fence and see how they react.

You can see her climb through a broken window on a barricaded door. Though there were police behind her. So I do think the shooting could have been avoided

If someone entered into that business the way she entered into the Capitol and that business owner believes that person is a threat then I agree. But as you can see from the pictures I posted, this wasn't as simple as someone opening the door and people just going in.

Yeah. They had all of the furniture blocking the door trying to prevent people from getting in.
They were protecting themselves. If anyone tries to go beyond the barriers that they put up, there was a pretty high chance someone would get shot.
It sucks that someone was killed, but what did they think "well they put the furniture up so we can't open the door.. But if we find away to get over those barriers, they will not do anything"?

What she did did not warrant a death sentence.
The Capital Police let people in the building. I was there and watched it happen. Blood is on their hands.
What i did see with crystal clear clarity was the Capital Police opening the doors and allowing people to enter the building while they moved aside and Im getting frustrated with people that keep saying that didnt happen because it 100% did.
I have no idea if they let her in the building, but they could have, because I watched them let in a whole shitload of people.
