With the pleading guilty of the scum in Idaho, let me tell you about Knoxville Tn's murder of two young people and how long their parents have suffered.
LINK

Channon Christian and Chris Newsom were kidnapped January 6,2007. After several days of being tortured and raped, he was burned to death, and she was stuffed, still alive in a steel drum that was then sealed.

Five people were arrested. The judge was less than competent but guilty verdicts happened. Some ended up being retried because of the judge.

That was not the end of it. Just this week, the one who earned the death penalty was back in court wanting his sentence overturned.

The families were there as they have been through this. For them it started in 2007 and it may never end.

The judicial system needs reforms written by those who have been affected by such heinous crimes. .

You don’t get justice in court. One good thing the black culture does right.

When is this judicial system going to start putting victims ahead of criminals?

I would want the shortest stay in jail possible for them. Let them out now. I don’t care. The longer I have to stew on it the worse it’s gonna be for them.

These murders were about as gruesome as it gets and I’m stunned that this a-hole is attempting to get his death penalty sentenced overturned. As a father, this is one that would have me seriously considering somehow taking justice into my own hands. This is a textbook case for the use of a very swift death penalty.

I remember reading about this.

I stil think about it a few times a year and recall how awful it was.

If a family member was a victim, I would 100% seek their destruction until the day I died.

They call it criminal justice when it should be victim justice.

It’s not the criminals that need justice.

The subhumans who did that to Chris and Channon should have been skinned alive and sealed in a barrel of lemon juice, and it should have aired live on BET.

One of the most horrific crimes I have ever heard about. Wonder where all of the prominent black voices like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were to denounce that racism?

I agree with everything you said.

The only comment I have is that our justice system is as much for the innocent as it is for the guilty. It is not a perfect system by any means, but you have to balance both. Many of the standards we have to protect the innocent wind up being abused by the guilty, but I don't know how you go about fixing that.

What exactly is the criminal justice system supposed to do for victims? The victim is by definition already a victim and that cannot be changed. The justice system exists to punish criminals and hopefully not punish innocent people along the way.

It literally has nothing to do with the victims.

Death sentences need to be swift. It’s so wrong they drag it on for years when their victims didn’t get the same opportunity.

Is this the piece of shite who got his sentence overturned? I like how they put glasses on him to try to make him look like someone who isn't a bad person.

He deserves to be alligator food.

I was living in Knoxville when that happened. Horrific. That case deserved nothing less than old West judgement. They should have strung those animals up in the street for everyone to witness.
