This is my first time dealing with a plumber and I didn’t know who would be the best company to deal with.

I don't remember the company, but they have an amimated pic on the side with two toddlers. The girl is peeking in on the boy with the tagline something like "plumbing is different too"

Ha, funny.

I’ve heard that Garcia Roofing will drain your pipes.

Whats the problem baw? Mom had a water leak and they wanted $1400 to reroute the main water line. I told her to just trace the water line from the water meter and they found the broke pipe at the first joint (20 ft) from the meter so about a $40 fix.

This is the second time no water came out of the kitchen sink faucet. We have a single handle faucet. The cold water side runs find but when I put it on the hot side nothing comes out. Also, when I use the kitchen sink for a while the dishwasher sometimes starts to back up.

No plumbing company is going to drive to someone’s house and only charge 40 dollars. It doesn’t add up. A minimum charge is more than 40 bucks.

There’s some rubber gaskets and springs in there that go out and need replaced. Look up your model number and you can buy them. I highly recommend only getting OEM as the Dayco and other generics are not great in my experience.

Had almost exactly this experience from American Plumbing in Baton Rouge. Crooks man.

Sounds like it became a DIY job when they asked for so much money. It’s what happened to me. My problem ended up being unrelated to the big ticket fix they tried to get me with.

Is this the only faucet that has this issue?

I promise you that’s what it is unless someone turned off the hot under the counter lol. It’s a 15 minute fix and you usually just need to shut the water off under the sink and then take an Allen wrench to take it apart. Almost definitely some YouTube’s on it.
