I was to be graduated from LSU. fricked up my last semester and had to finish in the fall. Didn’t really matter though. I found a job in the summer in between and made it a career. 30ish years later I retired. Can’t complain.

Had just graduated from high school and like every graduate in South Louisiana, headed to Panama City on senior trip. 9 guys, 1 room on the ground floor of some cheap condo with an adjoining room that we soon learned was filled with ho's from Walker - guess some things don't change. Glorious times it was!

Sophomore in college with NO idea what I was going to do the rest of my life.
Nothing has changed, except for the being in college part.

So is mine, when you were born I was turning 13, playing baseball, crabbing Fourchon beach with my cousins, and bumping Def Leopard and Sir Mix A Lot from a couple 15s while throwing donuts in my cousin’s 350 four barrel

I was 11, running the neighborhood and forests with my friends. We owned the world.

I was 15 in the Summer of 88. I was playing summer league American Legion baseball, and rockin’ out to Apetite for Destruction. Also I spent time eating at Wendy’s Super Bar.

Did you borrow a top secret RV to entertain some ladies and ended up crossing the border for some hilarious shenanigans?

If you were in Baton Rouge, I likely scored your game and was the announcer as well. Rolling in to Alex Box after spending the night at the Kingfish made for a long day.
ETA: wasn’t a bad gig. Paid decent money, met lots of girls watching the boys and the Admin of the league gave us beers at the Hall after the day was over.

I played at Goldsby as well. I was too old for legion play at that point so scoring and announcing was a good way to spend an afternoon at the box.
Skip was always there. Good guy in general but a bit of a curmudgeon.

In middle school at Istrouma Middle Magnet, where the 'preps' vs 'the headbangers' was on ongoing fued.
It snowed that year for the first time in my life. I remember it on our lunch break, entered the cafeteria with no snow, left cafeteria an there was 3 inches on the ground.
Dude We are the same age and went to the Magnet schools in BR. Big nerd.
That snow day I was home sick from school. But it was awesome after school and the next day. We sledded at Highland Road Park.
The preps vs wavers(skateboarders)/headbangers was real. There were several planned dust-ups outside of school on the weekends.
