This time during 1988 I was on summer break about to start high school as a freshman in a couple months. Great time to be alive.

Just finished Nursing School and was moving to California to have fun anywhere but Baton Rouge. Good times there before Cali imploded....

Stationed at Ft Clayton, Panama City, Panama, living in a hotel overlooking the canal and Pacific Ocean. I turned 20 when I was there.

Summer of ‘88 I was between 6th and 7th grades. Favorite movie was still Lethal Weapon, but was also a HUGE fan of “They Still Call Me Bruce” at that age. Liked Def Leppard, Beastie Bots, and Run DMC.

June - early July 5 week summer session at La. Tech(met the person who will be my bride of 31 years come August within my first week of being in Ruston).
August - November MCRD San Diego
December - SOI Camp Pendleton
Always amazed at how a single decision to attend summer school right after graduating HS has me at where I currently am in my life. I don’t go to summer school, probably never meet her.
June - early July 5 week summer session at La. Tech(met the person who will be my bride of 31 years come August within my first week of being in Ruston).
August - November MCRD San Diego
December - SOI Camp Pendleton
Always amazed at how a single decision to attend summer school right after graduating HS has me at where I currently am in my life. I don’t go to summer school, probably never meet her.

At this time in 1988 I was in the USAFSW pipeline. By June 1998 I was either in the Combat Control Operator course at Keelser or Airborne school at Ft. Benning. Fun times. Looking back it really was the time of my life.

I was 10, so I was probably riding my bike around the neighborhood with my friends. Playing ball in front yards. Drinking from a water hose during the Summer. Not appreciating how awesome and simple life was at the time.
