Tough to pass up such great pens, but yes, you should leave them.
I prefer the Pilot Precise V5 RT.
A bunch of them will be coming with me whenever I leave.

The pro move is to take all that home before they even know you are leaving.

Is leaving your choice or theirs? Answer depends on this.

All mine.

They don't know yet. I'm not going to leave until the week prior to Thanksgiving. I'm just doing some game planning.
I'm pretty sure I've used upwards of $500 worth of paper/ink in personal printing over the last year. A calculator and a few pens is small time.

I once took a secretary with me........it was great, but only for a few weeks until i met her son. he talked a lot. but then he grew on me. and i realized i was shoplifting the pootie from a single mom.........and had reservations about it. but it worked out in the end.

You leave behind items purchased by the company and only take personal items. Unless you are a democrat, then take what someone else paid for.

Take anything you want before you give notice. Bring in a terabyte HD a few WEEKS before quitting and download EVERYTHING you think you may ever need down the road. Week before: raid the supply closet, start taking home a little everyday in amazon boxes so they think you ordered it. If you like the desk lamp, pull the bulb, say its broken, and go put it in your truck. Literally, the day you send the email to your boss & HR or go have the talk, the only thing on your desk to take should be your car keys.
I've offered two weeks and was asked to stay around for a month; I've also been told to GTFO when I offered two weeks notice. You never know, so if you want it, take it HOME before you send that email. After that point, if you stick around, you are being watched very closely.
ETA: and leave the box of your business cards on your desk as a nice FU

Yep, and do it in a slow trickle. Couple of pens one day, calculator the next, ream of paper one day, etc.
And don't forget to save any useful Excel spreadsheets to a thumb drive, erasing any client/company data first of course.

As above, you gotta start that process a few months in advance.

I would say anything you wanted.

If you didn’t pay for the items, they belong to the company. What you’re asking is “what can I steal from the company?”

No one has called you trashy yet? OT slipping.

I love those. I actually bought a box for me to use for work, so you best believe I took those when I left my last job.

Don't tell Memorial Hermann, but they are light one OLD Beige Swingline Stapler.
They owed me.
They owed me.

Knew a guy that developed a plan on how to take things from his office
First he started with some gears ...taking those out in his lunch box
Then a fuel pump
Then an engine and a trunk
Followed by a transmission and chrome
Nuts bolts and shocks
Guy did alright for himself
