I don’t nap now, but in high school we got out at 11:30 and I didn’t have to be at work until 3 so I went home and napped every day.

Senior year of HS. Had a math class that was really easy right after lunch, slept every non test day and the teacher didn’t care because she knew she didn’t need to teach me.

Depending on my schedule it continued in college with either a midday nap between classes in the library, or as soon as I got home before I had to go to work.

I love naps. Probably 2 days a week I take one when my husband and son leave for school/work.

I don't work until 10:30 so makes it easy to fall asleep watching a show or movie.

Naps suck. I sometimes try but I know the result. I wake up not knowing what dimension I’m in for 20 minutes and then it fricks up my nightly routine. Not to mention if I try to take a nap it’s not actually sleep. It’s like this purgatory of in between actual sleep and fake sleep. frick that. Not about that nap life.

I haven’t napped since my 30s and am now 68. It could be that I easily get 8-9 hrs sleep on average.

Early 60's they just sort of became a regular thing at noon. I eat lunch while working at 11, except if I have lunch with a biz associate or client then short nap when I return to my home office.

This. I've never been a nap person. Even as a kid. About 5 years ago I switched plants and at lunchtime, everyone closed their door and took a nap. So I started doing it and it is awesome. Weird thing is, I don't take naps on weekends.

I have never taken naps. I guess I could sometimes on the weekends when my four kids are either at "rest time" or napping, but like others have said, I wake up feeling like my blood was replaced with molasses. Terrible.

We call it Zombie.
The trick is to not get too comfortable like with regular sleep. Don’t have the room too dark, don’t get tucked into bed all the way just lay on top with a throw, TV on in the background, etc. Things like that seem to help.

I take a nap at least once pretty much EVERY weekend.

Every once in a while I'll take a 30 minutes power nap when I come home from work just to have enough energy to deal with the kids until bed time. Those power naps are awesome in a weird way. Take forever to fall asleep, but even then it's just enough for a good boost.

if you can figure out how to fall asleep and wake up just before entering REM, you get the max benefit out of a nap, at least that's what they tell us in sleep class at work, but, I could have been napping during that part

I’m 54, my desire and ability to take a nap have been completely sporadic since childhood. I probably haven’t had one in over a year now.

I can’t nap much because I sleep too long when I do.
