Went to the aquarium and zoo in New Orleans last year and was surpised at the poor condition and especially how they cut the size of the aquarium in half to build the insectarium. The aquarium at Moody in Galveston is twice as big as the one in New Orleans with better exhibits. That's just sad. The zoo probably lost lots of funding with oil companies moving out of New Orleans. All the big exhibits at the Houston Zoo have large private donors and oil companies funding them.
