I'm partial to Devil's Den in Arkansas because it was close to where grew up and I went a lot of time with family and friends. Camping, pool, caves (used to be able to explore until bat diseases) a lot of trails and great color in the fall. What are some good state parks in your state?

We pass by Devils Den on our way to NE OK. Always have wanted to stop. I just might now.

Do it. Exit by Winslow, AR and take Hwy 74. Fun windy, steep drive

Ti don't know, but I really want to book one of the new cabins they built on the lake at Fountainblue. Damn things seem impossible to book though. Always full.

Big Basin near Santa Cruz. My childhood playground. Love the smell, the light, all of it.

Denali. The State Park is better than the National Park.

Eagle Beach here in JNU is close.

None of that compares to the pine straw at Kistatchie.

The state parks in Alaska are cheating and don't count.

Other than that I'll go with Jim Thorpe in Pennsylvania and Lost Maples in Texas off the top of my head.
